about the Cooperstown Graduate Association (CGA)

The Cooperstown Graduate Association is a not-for-profit corporation comprised of alumni and friends of the Cooperstown Graduate Program. CGA’s primary purpose is the support of budding, young graduate students who will be tomorrow’s museum curators and caretakers of our cultural patrimony, and to encourage professional development and collegiality.

One of the most valuable parts of a CGP education is the network of almost 750 alumni working in museums across the United States and in other countries throughout the world. The Cooperstown Alumni Association (CGA) helps these people in staying connected.

CGA membership dues support current students and fund alumni activities both in Cooperstown and at regional and national events, including the annual conferences of the American Association of Museums, the American Association of State and Local History, the Mid Atlantic Museum Association, the New England Museum Association, and many others. Members also receive discounts to CGA’s annual workshops and biannual conference.

Most importantly our membership keeps you even more connected to those who have been and still are a part of the CGP community. Join or renew your membership today.

To join CGA, or renew your membership, please contact Catherine M. Raddatz, Coordinator of Alumni Affairs.
