a heritage of hard work
In this undated photo to the right, hops pickers from Taugher’s Hop Yard fill wooden boxes with hops plants for processing. Workers processed the picked hops in a hop house. Many of these architectural relics vanished from the upstate New York landscape. CGP students documented many hop houses in Otsego and Madison counties for the ANYSF.
