an archive from back to the future
The Archive of New York State Folklife (ANYSF) is a multiple format collection of student projects featuring the alumni and faculty of the Cooperstown Graduate Program (CGP). Participation for these projects was both wide and extensive, spanning from 1964 to 1983. A diverse spectrum of informants including craftspeople, local farmers, folk artists, traditional performers, street musicians, blacksmiths, hewers, jokesters, schoolchildren, and others were documented and interviewed by the CGP community.
