Oneonta provides many services
throughout the community to help families in need. A wide range of
programs such as food and clothing distribution, living assistance,
counseling, child development, are offered by participating
organizations.
The
United Way of Delaware and
Otsego Counties plays a large role in providing support for these
organizations and the families who participate in them.
Opportunities
for Otsego help needy families by building houses and helping families
get back on their feet. The Lords Table and Saturdays Bread provide
nutritious, well-balanced meals for little or no cost. The community
also has a Salvation Army, as well as other donation agencies.
