Neahwa Park is located in the center of the city. It's wide, open
layout accommodates many different resources while still offering a very
natural feeling. It's many resources include Damaschke Field, soccer fields, baseball fields, softball fields,
the Oneonta skate park, playground facilities, large pavilion,
basketball courts, pond (which offers ice skating in the winter), and
picnic areas.
Filled with activity, you can catch an
Oneonta Tigers game (Class A
baseball), see July 4th fireworks, enjoy numerous musical and cultural
events, or just relax and enjoy a barbeque. Overall, Neahwa Park is a
big part of the Oneonta community.
