Huntington Memorial Library

The Huntington Memorial Library is the largest library in Otsego County, NY and is located in the City of Oneonta. Their collection contains more than 81,000 items. During 2002, attendance at children's and teenage programs totaled 7,729. More than 22,000 area residents have library cards.
The library is housed in a beautiful old homestead donated by Henry E. Huntington in 1917. Henry E. Huntington also donated a trust fund to support the library. From this, the library was named the Huntington Memorial Library in memory and honor of Henry E. Huntington's parents.
