Currently in phase 1 of it's construction, the Foothills Performing Arts Center will be a state-of-the-art performing arts facility. It's construction is dedicated to providing central New York with quality performing arts groups, modern educational and conference facilities, and a home for the areas already existing arts groups. The facility will be built in three sections, the production center (which is already under construction), the main theater with 1,200 seat capacity, and then a small multi-purpose theater and the grand lobby.

The center is being constructed on Market St. in downtown Oneonta. The site sits right below Main St. and behind the parking garage.
