Airport

The Oneonta Municipal Airport is located 3 miles north of the city of Oneonta. Opened in 1965, the airport gave Oneonta and the surrounding area closer access to air services. Today the Oneonta Municipal Airport is equipped with one 75 ft wide, 4200 ft long runway. The airport is used by single wheel aircrafts loading of 12,500 lbs.

The terminal building contains a service counter, lounge area, offices, restroom facilities, and instruction area. For storage/ parking, the airport is equipped with 12 T-hangers. Storage tanks are also available with gasoline and jet fuel. Automobile parking is also available behind the terminal with a capacity of about 30.

The Oneonta Municipal Airport offers a variety of services for the community. These include charter service, flight school activities, mechanical repair services, and car rentals. The airport is also utilized by MediVac and for military refueling.
