SOCL 233 Aging, Generations and Society
Introduces sociological theories and research on aging and the aged, exploring influences on the meaning of the experience of aging and the ways in which age and aging are socially constructed. Considers the sociology of aging within the matrix of three kinds of time: the life cycle, the aging of a generation and historical time. (LA)
