GEOL 375 Fluvial Geomorphology
Stream flow, flow frequency, river hydraulics, stream development, sediment transport and storage, channel shape and stability, and landforms associated with rivers are covered. Applications of fluvial principles to river management and stream restoration are emphasized. The course will meet for two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory activities per week. The course will be taught every other Spring. (LA)
