Fashion and Textiles majors complete the first three years at SUNY Oneonta and the final year at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. Students completing the program obtain a B.S. Degree in Fashion and Textiles from SUNY Oneonta and an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree from FIT in one of the following areas: Accessories Design, Fashion Design, Textile/Surface Design, Advertising and Marketing Communications, Fashion Business Management, or Textile Development and Marketing. Note: Students in the 3-1 FIT program must complete specific program requirements before applying to FIT. Acceptance to FIT is competitive. Minimum overall GPA 3.0.
