FAMS 340 Family Policy
This course is an examination of the public and private policies related to family life on the local, state, and national levels. The course provides an in-depth understanding of the history and development of family policy in the United States and a comparison to policies in other countries. Information about the political process in creating family policies as well as the development, implementation, and evaluation of these policies is analyzed. Offered Fall and Spring. (LA)
Prerequisites: CFS major; JrS; and FAMS 160.
