ESCI 323 Global Biogeochemistry
Introduction to the study of the chemical, physical, biological and geological processes and reactions that govern the composition of the natural environment. Focus on cycles of matter and energy that transport Earth’s components in time and space. Concepts from Atmospheric Sciences, Biology, Ecology, Chemistry, Geology and Soil Science. Lecture and lab weekly. Labs will focus on student presentation and discussion of case studies.
