EPSY 241 Educational Applications of Developmental Psychology
The course aims to deepen understanding of the application of developmental principles to the classroom and to develop skill in focused and systematic observation of student behavior. Through the design and implement of observations in the classroom students will develop an understanding of developmental issues in the classroom. A range of development issues including cognitive, social, and psychomotor development will be examined. Students will also explore the potential role of systematic observation in teaching.
Prerequisites: SoS and department permission.
