CONS 352 Gender and the Economics of Work
This course examines work and family decisions, particularly those of women, in terms of economics theory. Emphasis is placed on the allocation of time and money and on opportunity costs. Differences in economic attainment by sex and race are analyzed in terms of gender socialization, differences in education, occupational segregation, opportunity, and discrimination. (LA)
