CHEM 101 Introductory Chemistry: Organic
An introduction to organic chemistry with emphasis on uses of organic compounds. Topics include sugars, fats, soaps, amino acids, proteins, polymers, and natural products. Credit cannot be applied toward liberal arts chemistry or secondary chemistry majors. Not open to students with previous credit in CHEM 221 or 226.
Prerequisite: high school chemistry. (LA, N2)
