Leadership Development

We believe it is important to develop leaders for our Campus, and our students believe we provide the best opportunities to develop leadership skills. Our Emerging Leaders Program is designed to begin the process of leadership involvement, and our Harvey Delaney Leadership Institute, a two-day conference, is designed to explore the more in-depth characteristics of leadership and communication. In addition, SUNY Oneonta is home to the Diversity Peer Educator Program (DPEP) which provides an opportunity to educate students who can take up advocacy roles on diversity, multiculturalism, social justice, and related goals/values.
