We are now providing Sophos Anti-Virus version 9.5 "Endpoint Security and Control" as the campus anti-virus solution. Our campus license allows students and employees to install Sophos for personal use. Faculty and Staff who would like Sophos installed on a campus computer should contact the Help Desk at x4567 to arrange for the install.

The Campus has installed an email filter to check incoming mail for viruses. This is an automated process, not requiring human intervention, that searches for the telltale code associated with known viruses. This process will discard infected email and notify the sender that they attempted to send an infected email. The implementation of the filter is in keeping with the Campus' Statement on Email Privacy.
