SUNY Oneonta hosts several summer programs for various interests and ages. Some of our programs are directed by our own faculty, coaches, and students, while others are managed by outside private groups. Please review the links below for further information. Nike Tennis Camp

We are offering four weeks of Day, Extended Day, and Overnight camp options for kids ages 10-17 and is geared to junior campers of All Skill levels.

All sessions are open to players of all abilities unless otherwise noted. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff in a 1.5 hour evaluation session after check-in, so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Throughout the week, the focus shifts between the technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of tennis. Mornings focus on the technique while afternoons are geared towards match-play situations.

Oneonta All Skills Volleyball Camp

All-Skills Volleyball Camp

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The SUNY Oneonta women's volleyball team will host a girl's developmental overnight/commuter camp July 25th-July 28th. Oneonta All Skills Volleyball Camp is designed to develop and fine tune the correct fundamentals of setting, passing, serving, hitting, and defensive play. Athletes will be coached by current college players and coaches. Camp will be divided into skills appropriate for the training group in order to gain opportunities to compete together.

This camp is a great opportunity for players of all levels to learn about the game and practice their all-around volleyball skills. Through competitive games and exercises, along with fun of a traditional summer camp, you will gain confidence in the skills sets needed to compete at the next level!

When: July 25th-July 28th

Ages: 9th grade - 12th grades, ages 13-18

Resident cost $495

Commuter cost $380

SUNY Oneonta Team Camp

Oneonta Hoop Basketball Camp

Camp Start: July 8, 2024
Camp End: July 12, 2024

Boys and Girls basketball camp hosted at SUNY Oneonta for ages 6-17. The camp is led by head men's basketball coach Cameron Conover. The day camp runs from July 8-12th. Cooperstown Baseball World - CBW

Week 1: July 13-19, 2024

Week 3: July 27- August 2, 2024

Cooperstown Baseball World is the only week-long tournament camp of its kind, owned and run by baseball professionals. Each summer tournaments are offered in the 12u, 13u, 14u 1nd 16u age categories, It features a university atmosphere, skills competitions, a visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, strong family interaction and induction for the Players and Coaches into the National Youth Hall of Fame!

Each summer, CBW utilizes seven fields total; four on campus and three off campus fields in the town of Oneonta. Additionally, our complex is equipped with six Major League style batting cages.

With the idea of home and road games, the 14U - 16U games are played at three full sized, state-of-the-art fields: the SUNY Oneonta Varsity Baseball Field, Damaschke Field, and the Neahwa Park Field. It is here at Damaschke Field that Babe Ruth played in the 20’s and where Bernie Williams, Andy Pettite, Al Leiter, and Jorge Posada all played in the 80’s and 90’s. This field was also home to the Detroit Tigers Class “A” team.

CBW hosts their Individual Skill Competitions as if it were a pro or college try-out giving a young player the experience of what needs to be done to make it in the Major Leagues! All winners are awarded a custom plaque, engraved with their category.

College United- Premier Field Hockey Camp

Arrival: July 21, 2024
Depart: July 24, 2024

SUNY Oneonta will be hosting a Premier Field Hockey Camp July 21-24, 2024. Colleges United will bring together coaches from 10 different institutions for the ultimate field hockey experience. All skill sessions will take place on the campus’s premier turf fields. Camp is open to ages 10-18. Resident campers $450, Commuter campers $400. Camp begins 12 noon on Sunday and ends 12 noon on Wednesday. Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity!

SUNY Oneonta Women’s Basketball Camp

Arrival: August 4, 2024
Depart: August 7, 2024

SUNY Oneonta Women’s Basketball will host a girl’s developmental overnight/commuter camp.

Camp counselors will include the present team members. The camp is designed to develop basic fundamentals of the game. Daily activities include: one on one and three on three instruction; fundamental stations; and games. The camp will be held August 4 - August 7, for girls ages 10-18. Camp Registration begins Sunday evening at 5pm. Camp begins Sunday at 6:30pm and ends Wednesday at 3pm.

Groups of 5 or more from the same school may deduct $15 from the full price of the camp; provided all team members register together.

The camp is an excellent opportunity for campers to work on skills and game knowledge while having fun. Campers will be coached by current SUNY Oneonta Women’s soccer players and coaches and will be exposed to skill development, small game play, futsal and game play daily.

Please report at 9:00am on Monday morning the 5th

What to bring: water bottle, cleats/sneakers, soccer ball, comfortable clothes to play in, lunch, sunscreen (please apply to your camper prior to camp)
