The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) programs, which are frameworks for gauging progress towards sustainability, were evaluated. While AASHE was adopted, ACUPCC was found to be unfeasible. PACS and the sustainability coordinator are working to complete the AASHE assessment tool with the goal of earning a Bronze rating.

The Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) was created to conduct an open, campus-wide review of proposed budgets.
The BAC researched and recommended to Cabinet the Strategic Allocation of Resources (StAR) program, which was adopted in November.
Using SUNY benchmarks, the BAC has nearly finalized strategic spending and cash reserves.
An updated Other Than Personnel Salary (OTPS) allocation model for academic departments was presented to the BAC and department chairs and is nearly complete.
