Stakeholders Conference:
Strategic Planning and Resource Council

On Monday, November 16, our consultant, Dr. David McFarland, will return to campus for our second Stakeholders Conference.  His schedule includes meetings with several groups as well as open meetings with the campus community.

Dr. McFarland will conduct open forums for the campus community on Driving Forces, Core Values, and Institutional Distinctiveness.  In addition, he will be available for informal discussions about our college’s strategic planning, either individually or in small groups.  Members of the Strategic Planning and Resource Council (SPARC) as well as the three SPARC task forces (Governing Ideas, Institutional Distinctiveness, and Organizational Structure) will also be available for informal discussions. 

The schedule for Monday, November 16, is included below.  You are encouraged to participate in any or all of the sessions. 

 

Informal Discussions: 11 a.m.—1 p.m. at the Waterfront (Hunt Union)

Stop in anytime for an informal discussion with Dr. McFarland and/or representatives of SPARC and the task forces

 

Open Forums: 2 p.m.—5 p.m. in the Craven Lounge (Morris Conference Center)

Dr. McFarland will lead workshops on the current drafts of planning documents:

2 p.m.: Driving Forces

3 p.m.: Core Values

4 p.m.: Institutional Distinctiveness
