Michelle Nguyen (President), from Weedsport, NY, is in her fourth year as a professional accounting major with a concentration in finance. She is a member of various clubs and is on the e-board for OnMark, the Finance Club, and the Accounting Society. Michelle also serves as a director on the Student Association. In her free time she enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and spending time with loved ones. After graduation she hopes to obtain her CPA and work in an accounting firm in a big city.
Meaghan Kristol (Vice President) is a senior Business Economics major with a minor in Business Communications. She is from East Setauket, New York and currently works at SUNY Oneonta Admissions Office as an Admissions Assistant and tour guide. She also holds leadership positions in clubs and organizations on campus such as, The College at Oneonta Foundation Board of Directors, Omicron Delta Kappa National Honors Society, and Colleges Against Cancer/Relay For Life. Upon graduation she plans to obtain a position in human resources/recruitment and pursue an MBA degree. Some of her interests include reading, running and skiing.
Shane Irwin (Vice President) is in his senior year at Oneonta, majoring in Business-Economics with a concentration in Finance. Originally from Westbury, NY, he also serves as President of Beta Gamma Sigma, captain of Oneonta's club Ultimate Frisbee team, is a member of Oneonta Auxiliary Services' Board of Directors, and is a brother of Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity. After graduation, he plans to begin his career working in finance.
Stephanie Renner (Treasurer) is a senior at SUNY Oneonta with a major in Business Economics and a minor in Business Communications. She is originally from Orange County, New York. After she graduates in May of 2016, she hopes to work in finance somewhere in Corporate America.
Nick Moore is a Professional Accounting major in his fifth year. He is from Monroe-Woodbury New York. Some of his interests include skiing, mountain biking, music, and coffee. Nick has accepted a full time job offer with EY in their Stamford location and will be starting next Fall. As well as being interested in music, he currently has a radio show on which he plays live electronic music mixes.
Jennifer Rushlow is in her fourth year at Oneonta; she is majoring in Economics and Environmental Science. She is from Gasport, NY and at school she manages the composting program and has participated in the Fed Challenge twice. After she graduates, Jennifer plans to attend graduate school to earn her PhD in Economics. Jennifer enjoys playing in Oneonta music groups including Concert Band, Chamber Orchestra, and Pit Orchestra.
Micah Patterson is a Senior majoring in Business Economics with a concentration in Finance. He is from Plattsburgh, New York and his interests include skiing and working out. upon graduation Micah’s plan is to pursue a career in the finance industry.
Kristina McNamara is a 5th year Professional Accounting Major. Her hometown is Webster, NY and her interests include reading, snowboarding, club and intramural sports, hiking and yoga. Her career objective after graduation is to obtain her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and work for a public accounting firm.
Lauren Bracco is a Business Economics major with a concentration in finance and a minor in Business communications. She is from Monroe-Woodbury New York and is currently in her Senior Year at SUNY Oneonta. Lauren runs for the SUNY Oneonta Track Team and is a board member of the OnMark marketing club. After graduation, she hopes to attend graduate school and eventually acquire a job in the finance field.
Samantha Wilks is a third year Professional Accounting Major with a minor in Gender Studies from Endwell, NY. She is a member of the Oneonta Cross Country and Track team and is the treasurer of the GSA. After graduation she hopes to obtain her CPA license and work at an accounting firm in Chicago, and one day become a CFO.
Raquel Wolf is in her 5th year of the Professional Accounting program. She was born and raised in Levittown, NY. Raquel serves on the Accounting Society e-board as a Public Relations officer. Upon graduation in December, she hopes to obtain her CPA license and work for a public accounting firm.
Colleen Shannon is a senior, majoring in Business Economics. She is from Levittown, NY. Colleen is a member of Alpha Phi Omega and is currently Co-Vice President of Programming for Beta Gamma Sigma. After graduation, she plans to start her career in the finance field.
Amanda Barcia is a junior Business Economics major with a concentration in finance. She is from Westchester, New York. Some of her interests include club and intramural sports, snowboarding, and four-wheeling. Upon graduation Amanda’s plan is to pursue a career in the finance industry.
Heather Bohlen is a senior Business Economics major with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Fashion Merchandising. She is from Stony Brook, New York and currently works as an Economics tutor at the Center for Academic Development and Enrichment. Heather is also Vice President of Alumni Relations for Beta Gamma Sigma, Business Honors Society as well as President of Phi Upsilon Omicron, the Human Ecology Honors Society. Her interests include photography and running. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in Sales Marketing.
Laura Dailey is a sophomore double majoring in Business Economics and International Development Studies with a minor in Business Communications. She is from a small town called Marcellus near Syracuse, New York. Laura is a player on the Oneonta Women’s Rugby club team and various intramural sport teams. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in fields related to International Business.
Connor Day is in his fourth year as a Professional Accounting major with a concentration in finance and a minor in mathematics. Originally is from Bellmore, NY Connor is involved in many clubs as he is the President of the Finance Club, Vice president of the Accounting club as well as the Treasurer of the Economic Club. Connor serves as the campus ambassador for the Becker, which is a CPA review provider. He also serves on the Student Association as a senator and is in Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society. Upon graduation he plans to obtain his CPA and work for one of the big four accounting firms in New York City.
Alyson DeVita is majoring in Business Economics with a concentration in Marketing and minor in Business Communications. She is a highly driven and involved student from Shoreham, New York. As Vice President of Advertising, Alyson is on the executive board of OnMark, and currently works for the SUNY Oneonta’s Division of College Advancement as a Phonathon Student Caller. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing soccer and spending time with her family and friends. After graduation Alyson hopes to begin her career in the field of advertising.
Jessica Dominianni is currently a junior Business Economics major with a minor in Business Communications. She is from Rockland County, NY. She is a sister of Sigma Sigma Sigma, President of the Inter-Greek Council Executive Board, and President of Order of Omega. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in finance.
Gretchen Gartman is a senior, majoring in Business Economics and a concentration in Marketing. She is from Endicott, NY and is a member of the Resident Student Organization, Hall Government, and Student Technology Advisory Council. Following graduation, she plans on continuing her education to receive an MBA degree.
Andrew Jensen is a junior at SUNY Oneonta from Sandy Hook, CT. He is a Business Economics major with a Finance concentration. He serves on the e-boards for the Newman Club and the Jazz Appreciation Society. This past fall he participated in the Fed Challenge. After graduation, he is considering a career in either finance/investment banking or in economics.
Anna Lin is a third year Professional Accounting major with a concentration in finance. She is from Plainview, New York. While not in the classroom, Anna serves as a Peer Tutor in PreCalculus and Business courses, a Peer Mentor for first-year students and participates in many organizations such as Accounting Club and Finance Club. In her free time, you may find Anna skiing down a mountain, creating elegant fashion sketches, or even photographing landscapes in a remote national park. After graduation, Anna plans on obtaining her CPA license and working for a top 10 accounting firm.
Benjamin Merrill is a Senior in Business Economics Major with a concentration in Finance, and a Business Communications Minor. Ben is from Saratoga Springs, New York, and also serves on the Class of 2016 e-board as Treasurer. His interests include music production, skiing, and equity trading. Following graduation in mid-2016, he hopes to pursue a career in the field of Finance.
Ryan O'Mahoney is a Business Economics major from Westchester, NY. In the summer he works at a marina in Hampton Bays. Some of his interests include philosophy and hiking. In the future Ryan hopes to be working for a firm in Manhattan.
Sarah Planken is a Business and Economics major at SUNY Oneonta. She lives in Long Beach, NY and in her free time enjoys being near the beach, walking dogs, and watching Jeopardy. Upon graduation she plans to obtain a job in finance and pursue an MBA.
Sabina Ruggles is in her third year as a Business Economics and Communications, double major. She has been an active member of many clubs and organizations on campus including the Student Association Senate, the Oneonta Chapter of the American Advertising Federation, OnMark, Mentor Community, and a variety of campus committees. Aside from her busy class and extracurricular schedule, she is a musician, playing piano and singing for almost all of her life. After graduation, she plans on obtaining an MBA, and hopefully obtaining a career in the New York City area.
Kevin Stearns is a sophomore here at Oneonta, majoring in Economics with minors in Political
Science and Audio Production Arts. Originally from Schenectady, NY he is Community Service
Chair for the Ultimate Frisbee Association and a peer tutor at CADE. After graduation, he plans
to work in the field of economics or law.
Kathryn White is a senior at SUNY Oneonta. She is currently studying Business Economics with a concentration in Finance. Kathryn is from Pearl River, NY, which is a small town outside the city. Outside the classroom, Kathryn loves spending time with friends and being in the kitchen. She also has a passion for beauty. On campus, the main club she is active in is the marketing club where she participates in community service events and fundraising. She was also recently inducted into the National Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma, which acknowledges academic excellence. After graduation, Kathryn hopes to get a job in finance and potentially forward her education in accounting.

Elizabeth Benedict is in her junior year at Oneonta majoring in Professional Accounting. She is from Schenectady, NY and is an Accounting tutor at CADE on campus. She also participated in the College Fed Challenge this year. After graduating, she plans to take the CPA exam and join a public accounting firm in Upstate New York.
Sara Stathopoulos is in her junior year at Oneonta, majoring in Business-Economics with a concentration in Finance. Originally from Albany, New York, she also works as a note taker for the Student's with Disabilities Services office and as a barista at the coffee shop on campus, as well as volunteers throughout the community. Her interests include running, reading, and traveling. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career working in finance.
Connor Killane is a sophomore from Clifton Park, NY. He is majoring in Business Economics with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Communication Studies. He is also a member of the Oneonta Swimming and Diving team and is part of the SUNYAC All-Acadmemic Team. Upon graduation Connor plans on pursuing a career in finance.
John Danielo is in his junior year at Oneonta, majoring in Business-Economics with a concentration in Finance. He is from Plainedge, New York and is currently involved in Economics, Finance, and Befit Clubs. He is a former athlete at SUNY Oneonta and when he is not doing work he enjoys being active with friends and family. He hopes to one day work in finance somewhere in New York City.
James Garzia is a third year Professional Accounting and Mathematics dual major. He is from Marcellus, NY. He is a co-founder of the Entrepreneurship Club. He also is a member of Accounting Society, Finance Club and OnMark. James also serves as a Senator on the Student Association. James plans to obtain his CPA and work as an Accountant.
Jessica Anderson is a 3rd year Professional Accounting Major. She is from Levittown, NY and is a member of SUNY OnMark. She is also a member of the Fundraising Committee for Relay for Life in the Colleges Against Cancer club. Some of her interests include reading and working out. After graduating in May 2018, she hopes to become a Certified Public Accountant and eventually obtain her MBA degree.
Tim Distler is a sophomore Business Economics major. He is from Amityville, NY, and is a member of the Tennis Team and serves as the recruiting coordinator. Tim volunteers as a site coordinator for the VITA program, is a member of the Finance and accounting societies. He is also the Vice President and co-founder of the Entrepreneurship Club. Upon graduation he plans on starting a career in finance.
Michael McDonnell is a junior Professional Accounting major from Levittown, NY. He currently works as a Resident Advisor in Wilber Hall, is a brother of Alpha Phi Omega, and is a conference co-chair for the NEACURH Regionals 2016 Conference to be held at SUNY Oneonta in the fall of 2016. In his free time, he enjoys long distance running and hiking. Following his graduation in the spring of 2018, Michael hopes to work either as a CPA or as an accountant for a non-profit organization.
Melissa Voyer is a third year Professional Accounting major from Baldwinsville, New York. Melissa enjoys the outdoors and has a love for travelling and new experiences. Melissa takes pride in being a member of the Women’s Volleyball team at SUNY Oneonta. After graduation, her plans are to get her Certified Public Accountant license and work for a pubic accounting firm in North Carolina.
