Daniel Lounsbury (Chair) a 4th year Professional Accounting Major with a Minor in Economics. His hometown is Rocky Point, Long Island and his interests include reading books, physical fitness, intramural sports, cooking, fishing, and snowboarding. His career objectives include becoming a Certified Public Accountant to jump start a career in Auditing Services at an accounting firm in New York City.
Natalia Poljak (Vice Chair) is in her fourth year, majoring in professional accounting. She is originally from Brewster New York. After she graduates, she hopes to obtain her CPA license and work for an accounting firm in New York City. Her hobby is playing Volleyball on the Oneonta State volleyball team.
Abby Renneman (Vice Chair), originally from Red Hook, NY, is in her fourth year as a professional accounting major. While attending SUNY Oneonta, she remains heavily involved in community service and leadership activities as she serves on the SUNY Habitat for Humanity e-board as the affiliate liaison and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society e-board as the treasurer. After graduation she plans on obtaining her CPA and eventually working in financial consulting.
Erin Ruth is from Kingston, New York and is a junior at Oneonta, studying Business Economics with a minor in Gender and Women's Studies. She is a member of various clubs, such as Alpha Phi Omega (community service fraternity), and is highly involved in the Political Science Club. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing the piano.
Nick Moore is a Professional Accounting major in his junior year. He is from Monroe-Woodbury New York. Some of his interests include skiing, mountain biking, music, and coffee. His career objective is to obtain a job with one of the big four accounting firms after graduating. As well as being interested in music, he currently has a radio show on which he plays live electronic music mixes.
Marlaena LeMaitre is a junior Business Economics major with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Apparel and Textiles. She is from West Islip, Long Island and her interests include snowboarding and sailing. Marlaena currently runs for the Oneonta Cross Country and Track teams. After graduation, she hopes to attend graduate school and eventually have a career in the finance field.
Kyle Sisco is a junior Economics major with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Business Communication. He is from a town called Hartford, north of Albany. Kyle is in two student acts on campus, Somewhere Up There (SUNY Music Madness Champions) and Bray (Red Dragon Records’ Recording Artist). He recently hiked and camped around Colorado this past summer and hopes to do the same in Spain after graduating. Kyle hopes to have a career in an analytical field within economics after graduating.
Ryan Dragunat is in his fourth year, majoring in professional accounting. He was born and raised in Smithtown, NY. After graduation he hopes to obtain his CPA license and work for a public accounting firm. His interests include watching and playing sports, Pilates, reading, and hanging out with friends.
Marena Vigilante is a senior at SUNY Oneonta. She is currently in her 4th year as a Professional Accounting major. Her hometown is Yorktown Heights, NY. Some of her interests include playing soccer, hiking, cooking and reading.
Charlene Nelson is a senior in the Professional Accounting Major. She is from the Oneonta area and enjoys riding horses, hiking, geocaching, and reading. She hopes to take two legs of the CPA exam this summer and secure an internship as well. Her plan after graduation is to acquire a position with a medium size CPA firm.
Mariel Doyle is a junior from Bethlehem, New York who is majoring in Economics and Mathematics. Mariel currently runs for the Oneonta Cross Country and Track teams and in her free time enjoys snowboarding. After graduation she plans to continue her education in the economics field.
Kelly Van Deusen is a junior from Bethlehem, New York. She is majoring in Business Economics with a concentration in Marketing and Mass Communications with a concentration in Media Studies. Upon graduation, she hopes to get a job in the social-media marketing field and may pursue an MBA degree.
Jennifer Rushlow is in her second year at Oneonta; she is majoring in Economics and Environmental Science. She is from Gasport, a small town in Western NY. After she graduates, Jennifer plans to attend graduate school to earn her PhD in Economics. Jennifer enjoys playing in Oneonta music groups including Concert Band, Chamber Orchestra, and Pit Orchestra.
Micah Patterson is a junior majoring in Business Economics with a concentration in Finance. He is from Plattsburgh, New York and his interests include skiing and working out. Upon graduation Micah’s plan is to pursue a career in the finance industry.
Kristina McNamara is a 4th year Professional Accounting Major. Her hometown is Webster, NY and her interests include reading, snowboarding, club and intramural sports, hiking and yoga. Her career objective after graduation is to obtain her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and work for a public accounting firm.
Stephanie Renner is a junior at SUNY Oneonta with a major in Business Economics and a minor in Business Communications. She is originally from Orange County, New York. After she graduates in 2016, she hopes to work in finance somewhere in Corporate America.
Jason Ruvio is currently a junior at SUNY Oneonta. He is an accounting major and hopes to be a CPA someday, possibly working for the Big Four. He enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, and playing guitar. He also started Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity at Oneonta, and looks forward to doing great things with the SAC.
Michelle Nguyen, from Weedsport, NY, is in her third year as a professional accounting major. She is a member of various clubs and is on the e-board for both OnMark and the Finance Club. Michelle also serves as a senator on the Student Association. In her free time she enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and spending time with loved ones. After graduation she hopes to obtain her CPA and work in an accounting firm in a big city.
Kevin Wren is a fourth year Professional Accounting Major with a Minor in Finance. He is from Duanesburg, New York and enjoys playing soccer, hiking, fishing, and traveling. He is currently the President of the Accounting Society. After graduation he would like to become a Certified Public Accountant and work for an accounting firm in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Lauren Bracco is a Business Economics major with a concentration in marketing and a minor in Business communications. She is from Monroe-Woodbury New York and is currently in her Junior Year at SUNY Oneonta. Lauren runs for the SUNY Oneonta Track Team and is a member of the OnMark marketing club. After graduation, she hopes to attend graduate school and eventually acquire a job in the marketing field.
Samantha Wilks is a second year Professional Accounting Major from Endwell, NY. She is a member of the Oneonta Cross Country and Track team. After graduation she hopes to obtain her CPA license and work at an accounting firm in Chicago, and one day become a CFO.
Raquel Wolf is in her 4th year of the Professional Accounting program. She was born and raised in Levittown, NY. Raquel serves on the Accounting Society e-board as a Public Relations officer and is also the current Campus Ambassador for Becker Professional Education. Upon graduation, she hopes to obtain her CPA license and work for a public accounting firm.
Arielle Gelosi, originally from North Babylon, Long Island is a junior in the Business Economics Major with a concentration in Finance. She is heavily involved in community service, which can be seen through her participation in the Girl Scouts of America as lifetime member; Alpha Phi Omega, our school’s community service fraternity; and as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance for members of the Oneonta community. After graduation she hopes to continue her education in the finance or accounting field by earning her CPA.
Colleen Shannon is in her second year, majoring in Business Economics. She is from Levittown, NY. Colleen is a member of Alpha Phi Omega (community service fraternity), and is Vice President of her residence hall's student government. After graduation, she plans on attending graduate school to pursue a career in the finance field.
Meaghan Kristol is a junior Business Economics major with a minor in Business Communications and a concentration in Finance. She is from East Setauket, New York and currently works at SUNY Oneonta Admissions Office as an Admissions Assistant and tour guide. She also holds leadership positions in clubs and organizations on campus such as, Colleges Against Cancer and Relay For Life. Upon graduation she plans to obtain a position in human resources/recruitment and pursue an MBA degree. Some of her interests include reading, running, traveling, and skiing.
Shane Irwin is in his junior year at Oneonta, majoring in Business-Economics with a concentration in Finance. Originally from Westbury, NY, he is a brother of Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity and also plays on the school's Ultimate Frisbee team. After graduation, he plans to have a career working in finance.
Matt Acquavella is a senior from Setauket, New York. He is dual-majoring in Economics and Mass Communications. He enjoys digital photography and is an avid professional football fan. Upon graduation he hopes to pursue a masters degree in finance.
