Daniel Lounsbury (Chair) a 4th year Professional Accounting Major with a Minor in Economics. His hometown is Rocky Point, Long Island and his interests include reading books, physical fitness, intramural sports, cooking, fishing, and snowboarding. His career objectives include becoming a Certified Public Accountant to jump start a career in Auditing Services at an accounting firm in New York City.
Natalia Poljak (Vice Chair) is in her fourth year, majoring in professional accounting. She is originally from Brewster New York. After she graduates, she hopes to obtain her CPA license and work for an accounting firm in New York City. Her hobby is playing Volleyball on the Oneonta State volleyball team.
Jessica Silsbe (Vice Chair) is a senior Business Economics major with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Economics. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and studied dance at LaGuardia the High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan. Jessica currently takes dance classes and attends concerts for enjoyment. This past summer she completed an internship program at JPMorgan Chase and she has accepted a job offer from the firm commencing July 2014.
Philip Chieco is a Senior from Clifton Park, NY. He is currently studying Business Economics with a concentration in Finance. His interests include sports, music and snowboarding/skiing. He hopes to become a Financial Analyst after graduation. A fun fact about him is that he moved seven times before first grade.
Julia Fremante (Graduated December 2013) is a senior from Albany, NY. Her major is Business Economics with a Finance concentration. After graduation, Julia plans to become a Financial Advisor.
Angelica (Angie) Aldana is a senior Business Economics major, and she is planning on adding a finance concentration. Some of her interests are Finance, Economics, learning, swimming, and traveling. After graduation she hopes to go on and get her MBA and maybe even a PhD eventually. She is from a tiny town called Stanfordville, in Dutchess County, NY. A fun fact about her is that she is afraid of heights, but loves roller coasters.
Nick Moore is a Professional Accounting major in his junior year. He is from Monroe-Woodbury New York. Some of his interests include skiing, mountain biking, music, and coffee. His career objective is to obtain a job with one of the big four accounting firms after graduating. As well as being interested in music, he currently has a radio show on which he plays live electronic music mixes.
David Stanton (Graduated December 2013) is a senior business economics major with a minor in economics and a concentration in finance. He is from Parish, NY and enjoys reading, watching TV, and hanging out with friends. After graduation, he will be working at JP Morgan Chase & Co. in the Corporate and Investment Bank.
Katie Tighe (Graduated December 2013) is a senior majoring in Business Economics with a concentration in Finance from Carmel, NY. During her time at Oneonta she has participated in intramural sports,was involved in the Model United Nations competition, and was a member of The Federal Reserve Challenge team this past fall. This past summer she interned for Pershing LLC, a BNY Mellon company. She will be graduating this December and at some points hopes to pursue an MBA.
Jeff Schnorbus (Graduated December 2013) is majoring in Business Economics, with a concentration in Finance, and will be graduating in December. Besides expanding his knowledge on the economy, he loves to workout and read nutritional articles on how the body works. He also loves to play competitive volleyball, hang out with friends, and travel (hopefully going to Australia soon!) After he graduates, he hopes to get his personal training certification and train people as a side job, while maintaining a full time position in the finance field.
Marena Vigilante is a senior at SUNY Oneonta. She is currently in her 4th year as a Professional Accounting major. Her hometown is Yorktown Heights, NY. Some of her interests include playing soccer, hiking, cooking and reading.
Charlene Nelson is a senior in the Professional Accounting Major. She is from the Oneonta area and enjoys riding horses, hiking, geocaching, and reading. She hopes to take two legs of the CPA exam this summer and secure an internship as well. Her plan after graduation is to acquire a position with a medium size CPA firm.
Christopher Rollo is in his fifth year, majoring in Professional Accounting with a Chemistry minor. He is from Delhi, New York and enjoys bike riding, cooking, recording music, building computers, and traveling. Upon graduation, Chris intends to become a Certified Public Accountant with a specialization in the Healthcare industry.
Mariel Doyle is a junior from Bethlehem, New York who is majoring in Economics and Mathematics. Mariel currently runs for the Oneonta Cross Country and Track teams and in her free time enjoys snowboarding. After graduation she plans to continue her education in the economics field.
