From President Kleniewski
To the Campus Community
October 27, 2009
The Campus Climate Survey is now open to the SUNY Oneonta community
at the following address:
The Campus Climate Survey is being administered as part of the
College's Strategic Action Plan on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion,
which calls for the periodic "assessment of the campus climate" in order
to monitor campus perceptions of diversity issues and to evaluate the
impact of programs and services addressing those issues. A similar
survey was administered in Fall 2005.
All members of the SUNY Oneonta community are eligible to complete the survey, which should take approximately 20-25 minutes. Participation is entirely voluntary and anonymous, but you will need your Oneonta user name and password to log in to the online survey. This will ensure that an individual cannot submit the survey more than once and that participants can save their responses and complete the survey later. Once a survey is submitted, all identifying information will be stripped from it so that survey responses cannot be linked to individuals.
When you complete the survey online, you will have the option of printing out a certificate that you can exchange at a number of campus locations for a small gift (e.g., soda, Oneonta diversity necklace).
If you would prefer a paper version of the survey, you can pick up a copy at the front desk of the Milne Library, information desk of the Hunt College Union, or information desk in the lobby of the Netzer Administration Building. Completed surveys can be submitted by campus mail to the Office of Institutional Assessment and Effectiveness (Netzer 135).
Thank you in advance for your participation in this important survey.
Nancy Kleniewski, President
