Provides full text for about 6,100 periodicals including over 5,100 peer-reviewed journals across most areas of academic study as well as indexing and abstracts for more than 10,000 magazines and journals.

Available through FirstSearch. From the National Agricultural Library. Indexes about 5000 journals. Subjects covered include food and human nutrition, environmental science, agriculture. Five simultaneous users.

Basic BIOSIS
Available through FirstSearch. Provides information on recent developments in the life sciences. Covers approximately 375 journals.
Biology Digest
Available through FirstSearch. Covers the life sciences, including biology, ecology and health for undergraduates. Includes lengthy abstracts.
BioMed Central | Advanced Search
Provides full-text to about 130 journals in biology and medicine. This database is openly accessible, but individual (free) registration is required.
CINAHL Plus with Full Text
Indexing for over 560 journals in the fields of nursing and allied health sciences with coverage back to 1937. Some full text articles are included.

Provides academic journal articles, magazine articles, newspaper articles, and information on complementary and alternative medicine
Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
Provides about 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Also includes 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets.
HerbMed
From the Alternative Medicine Foundation. Provides summaries of and links to Medline abstracts as well as links to traditional and folk use reports. Provides information on toxicity, adverse effects, drug interactions, preparations, and mechanism of action.
IBIDS Database
From the National Institutes of Health. International Bibliographic Information on Dietary Supplements (IBIDS) is a database of published, international, scientific literature on dietary supplements, including vitamins, minerals, and botanicals. Can be limited to peer-reviewed citations only.
LexisNexis Academic
Contains full text general news and reference information, as well as legislative, legal, business, financial, and health sources. Includes the full text of major newspapers including the New York Times, Washington Post, Financial Times, Le Monde. Updated daily.
New York Times Archive, 1851-2004
The New York Times archive provides full page and article images with searchable full text back to the first issue. It is possible to limit by article type including: classified ad, display ad, editorial cartoon, letter, comic, editorial article, review, stock quote, weather, legal notice, and real estate transaction.
PsycINFO
Covers 1887 to the present. Provides worldwide coverage to literature in psychology and related disciplines. Links to full text articles in other databases. PsycARTICLES provides access to over 100,000 searchable full text articles from 48 journals published by the American Psychological Association from 1894 to the present.
ScienceDirect
Provides full text access to over 2000 Elsevier journals in the fields of science, psychology, medicine, and technology.
