Unaccessioned Archives
The unaccessioned archives are part of the college’s SCC archives collection and are materials which are waiting to be processed and added to the collection. Information and materials regarding the history of the college, some dating back to the college’s establishment in 1889, comprise this collection. Currently, the unaccessioned portion of the archives is quite large, but as the materials become processed, they are added to the accessioned archives collection.
The unaccessioned archives include paper records, visual aids (motion picture film reels, recordings, photographs, and slides), and memorabilia. They include materials from administrative offices, departments, committees, student groups, sororities/fraternities, and former students. College publications such as literary magazines, handbooks, directories, newsletters, and brochures are also included. Click here for a listing of unaccessioned items.
