The Office of IT Security offers several training sessions for departments or individuals:

Security Essentials
The basics of how to protect information- your personal information as well as the College’s. You can review the outline here: Security Essentials

Identity Theft Prevention (FTC Red Flags)
How to recognize and report identity theft “red flags” as a service provider
Required annually for employees that access covered accounts (student, employee, alumni information, financial information, email accounts, etc.)

Payment Card Industry data Security Standards
How to protect credit card information and maintain compliance with the standard, which is required in order to accept credit card payments
Required annually for offices that accept credit card payments – can be combined with Identity Theft Prevention training
