ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHTS
A Dean’s List student every year, Josh has received several scholarships. He was also named one of the College’s “Best and Brightest“ and inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma national honor society. He worked as a tax staff intern at Peachin and Associates in his junior year. As a scholar-athlete, he was selected as an NCAA Scholar All-American, named to the SUNYAC All-Academic Team and Commissioner’s List, inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma national honor society, and honored with the College’s G. Hal Chase Memorial Award.
MOST INFLUENTIAL CLASS
Josh regards his Financial Accounting course as the most influential course he has had so far. It was that class that helped him to recognize his potential. After the course, he changed his major from business economics to professional accounting.
LEADERSHIP
A member of the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society, Josh served as captain of the SUNY Oneonta wrestling team, a representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, public relations coordinator for the Accounting Society, and a peer tutor through the Educational Opportunity Program and the Center for Academic Development and Enrichment. He has already completed the requirements to receive a Community Service Honors Medallion at graduation, having participated in service with the College’s Youth Wrestling Club, Saturday’s Bread soup kitchen, CROP Program, and other organizations.

What has been your most memorable experience at Oneonta so far?
Qualifying for the 2008-09 NCAA Division III National Wrestling Championships in Iowa. The support of the team and athletic department as a whole was exceptional.
