SUNY ONEONTA ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT FOR FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- SUNY Oneonta has announced the appointment of Todd Foreman as vice president for finance and administration, effective January 3. He succeeds Dr. Leif Hartmark, who retired in December after more than two decades at the college.

Foreman joined the staff of the college in 1993 as coordinator of customer service for telecommunications. He served as director of telecommunications, and director of computing and telecommunications prior to becoming the college’s associate vice president for administration and technology in 2006.

In his new role, Foreman will be responsible for facilities, information technology, business services, budgeting, and the SICAS (Student Information and Campus Administrative Systems) Center, which provides software, services and training to member colleges across the state. Foreman will serve as treasurer for both the College at Oneonta Foundation and Oneonta Auxiliary Services (OAS). The College Foundation raises and administers private gifts and grants to enhance the college through endowment, scholarships, and institutional programs, while OAS operates College Camp and the dining halls, bookstore, and vending and laundry facilities on campus. Foreman also will serve as operations manager of the college’s research foundation.
