ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Oneonta Superintendent of Schools Michael Shea will
speak on "How Technology Is Enhancing Student Achievement in Today's
Schools" at the SUNY College at Oneonta Alumni Association's Spring Luncheon
Series at noon on Wednesday, March 19, in the Otsego Grille of the Morris
Conference Center. Admission to the luncheon is $10, and reservations are
available through March 14 from the SUNY-Oneonta Office of Alumni Affairs at
(607) 436-2526. Community members are invited to attend.
Following his graduation from the College at Oneonta in 1981, Michael
Shea started his career as a middle school social studies teacher at
Tri-Valley Central School in Grahamsville. After five years as middle school
principal at Delaware Academy and Delhi Central School, he joined Franklin
Central School as superintendent in 2000. He began his current position as
superintendent of the Oneonta City School District in 2005.
