ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The
PAIRS
Committee (Prevention, Awareness & Intervention for Relationship violence &
Sexual assault) of the SUNY College at Oneonta will soon launch the Red Flag
Campaign at the College to raise awareness of dating violence.
From October 19 through November 4, the committee plans to display 200
small red flags on the campus grounds and 100 in offices as part of the
campaign. The campaign will also feature a series of posters that illustrate
the "red flags" that might be present in a relationship experiencing dating
violence.
The 4" x 5" plastic flags, which resemble survey flags, will be imprinted
with the web address of the Red Flag Campaign and located in several
clusters around campus.
