ONEONTA, N.Y. -- SUNY Oneonta athletes will hold their annual Leaf Raking Community Service Event from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
Members of the SUNY Oneonta baseball, softball, men’s lacrosse, men’s basketball and men’s soccer teams will rake leaves, free of charge, for elderly residents and others who need assistance in Oneonta and surrounding communities.
Residents do not have to be home to have their lawns raked, but they must sign up ahead of time. To sign up, call Student-Athlete Affairs Administrator Liz Wagner at 436-3590 and provide your name, a phone number where you can be reached Oct. 29 and the approximate size of the lawn.
