ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The SUNY College at Oneonta will sponsor and host
an Oneonta Kidney Walk as part of the National Kidney Foundation's Walk on
Sunday, October 26. As a prelude to the event, the College will present a
kick-off for the Kidney Walk on Tuesday, September 9, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
in the ballroom of the Hunt College Union. Admission to the kick-off is
complimentary, and members of the community are invited to participate.
Individuals and teams are now being recruited to participate in the
Oneonta Kidney Walk. More information about the kick-off event and the

The Kidney Walk is a non-competitive, educational fundraiser that
highlights awareness and prevention of kidney and urinary tract diseases and
