ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The SUNY College at Oneonta expects to welcome 52
new international students to the College this fall. Representing 11
different countries, they include 24 new freshmen, 22 transfer students, and
six exchange students.
The College expects to have a total of 98 international students
enrolled, representing 20 different countries. The top five countries
represented are Japan (19 students), Hong Kong (16), Korea (15), India (14),
and Russia (7).
The SUNY Oneonta Office of International Education functions as a center
for recruitment and retention of the College’s international students. More
