ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Indian
Cultural Club of the SUNY College at Oneonta will offer a showing of
the movie Chak de India at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 6,
in the Red Dragon Theatre of the Hunt College Union on campus.
Admission to the event is complimentary, and members of the
community are invited to attend.
Chak De India is the story of a former men's field hockey
player who returns to coach a national women's team and struggles to
overcome many challenges, including their diverse backgrounds.
Directed by Shimit Amin, the 2007 film was released in India.
