ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Center for Social Science Research at the SUNY College at Oneonta will sponsor a presentation by SUNY Oneonta Sociology majors Marrissa Guzek, Matthew Herzog, and Jeffrey Rieck entitled “Uncovering the Identities of Oneonta: Its Past and the Future” on Monday, May 10, at 7 p.m. in the Craven Lounge of the Morris Conference Center. Admission to the presentation is free, and members of the community are invited to attend.

The students conducted research on how the identities of Oneonta have been constructed through social, cultural, and economic developments over the years. The project traces the evolution of Oneonta’s identity through the lens of architecture and explores its future directions.
