Events on Friday, October 12, include a movie, intercollegiate athletic competitions in women's soccer and volleyball, and a dinner theater.

The events on Saturday, October 13, include the ninth annual induction ceremony for the College's Athletic Hall of Fame in the Alumni Field House. Six outstanding alumni athletes will be inducted in the 10 a.m. ceremony. The inductees are Clair Jacobsen '53 (inducted posthumously), who starred in basketball and baseball; Jan Miller '72, who competed in cross country, track, and swimming and diving; lacrosse standout Brian Dooley '01; Adrianne Musu Jackson-Buckner '06, who starred in track & field and field hockey; soccer and basketball player Kristen Marullo Shearer '91; and basketball star Ronald Sanchez '97. The NCAA Division III champion women's soccer team of 2003 will be inducted as a team of distinction.

The popular Homecoming & Family Weekend Craft Fair will be held in the Hunt Union Ballroom from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Over 75 crafters will feature a wide variety of items at this year's show. Admission and parking are complimentary.

Also on Saturday, College faculty and other regional experts will offer back-to-school mini-classes on a variety of topics ranging from literature to retirement planning. The classes will be held in the Hunt College Union from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

The women's varsity soccer team will take the field on Saturday at 1 p.m. against SUNY-IT. At 3 p.m., a Greek Life Reception for students and alumni will be held in the Butternut Valley Room of the Hunt College Union. At 7 p.m., the Hispanic Organization for Learning Advancement will present Orquidea de Oro, a performance of folkloric dances from the
Caribbean and Pacific coasts of Colombia and the South American Andes, in the Center
for Multicultural Experiences in Lee Hall.

The Homecoming Concert, entitled "Showcase Oneonta" will take place in the Alumni Field House at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Admissions to the concert is free, and members of the community are invited to attend. No tickets are required.

The concert will feature singer and Broadway performer Philip Hernandez, whose debut CD is entitled The Beat Of My Heart. Hernandez is a successful Broadway actor who played principal roles in the original casts of Kiss of the Spiderwoman and in Paul Simon's The Capeman. He is also the only actor in Broadway history to play the roles of Jean Valjean and Inspector Javert in Les Miserables.
