ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The
Inter-Greek
Council of the SUNY College at Oneonta will sponsor a "Together Against
Breast Cancer" Walk/Run on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to noon near
Hodges Pond in Neahwa Park. Registration will take place at the event. The
entry fee will be $5 for an individual or $10 for a group of three, and all
proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
A number of family activities will be offered in conjunction with the
event, including face painting, games, buttons, and pink balloons. Oneonta
City Mayor John Nader is expected to attend.
