ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Chi Phi fraternity chapter at the SUNY College
at Oneonta is continuing its efforts to support the men and women of the
U.S. armed forces. Last week, fraternity members wrote letters to soldiers
being treated at the Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C.
The Chi Phi fraternity also participated in the "Holiday Shoebox For
Soldiers" drive last semester. The group sent magazines, movies, and food as
well as a thank-you letter to soldiers stationed in Iraq.
