ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The eighth annual Faculty Research Show at the SUNY
College at Oneonta will highlight a wide range of research projects
conducted by SUNY-Oneonta faculty from 29 academic departments and programs
with collaborators from 17 different institutions. Faculty will present 62
programs, representing the work of 140 contributing authors from the College
at Oneonta and affiliated universities, at the show in the Morris Conference
Center on Wednesday, March 12, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Preceding the show, seven successful alumni of SUNY-Oneonta science
programs will participate in a panel discussion from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on
March 12 in the Little Theater in Alumni Hall to describe how their academic
experiences at the College impacted their professional lives. Admission to
both events is complimentary, and members of the community are invited to
attend.
The Faculty Research Show will feature multi-disciplinary presentations
from the natural and applied sciences to the humanities and arts to social
sciences, including the following:

The Science Alumni Panel will include four faculty panelists from
SUNY-Oneonta: Dr. Arthur Palmer of the
Earth Sciences Department, Dr.
William Pietraface of the
Biology Department, Dr.
Willard Harman of the
Biological Field Station, and Dr.
William Vining of the
Chemistry and
Biochemistry Department.
