ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Students in the advanced Fashion Design course
"Innovations in Wearable Art" taught by
Dr. Annacleta
Chiweshe of the Human
Ecology Department at the SUNY College at Oneonta will present an
"eco-fashion" show on Tuesday, April 21, at 2:45 p.m. in front of the Human
Ecology Building on campus.
In the course, students design unique garments using both traditional and
non-traditional materials and techniques. For the eco-fashion show, students
developed one-of-a-kind garments using non-traditional materials in the
spirit of sustainability.
The students who designed fashions for the show are Danielle Dusharm,
Lauren Guerrera, Nicole Leonard, Janelle Luley, Jessica Mason, Emily
Nearing, Jessica Netherton, Kristina Perazone, Allison Plate, Charlene
Ploetz, Rebecca Ryba, Chelsea Warenik, and Kaitlin Williams.
