ECONOMICS & BUSINESS SEMINAR AT SUNY ONEONTA TO FOCUS ON WHOLESALE ELECTRICITY MARKETS

 

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Assistant Professor of Economics Lester Hadsell will offer a presentation in the Economics and Business Division Faculty Seminar Series at the SUNY College at Oneonta at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, in room 203 of Schumacher Hall. Dr. Hadsell will speak on "Pricing Risk in Wholesale Electricity Markets: Transmission Congestion Contracts on NYISO." Admission to the event is complimentary, and members of the community are invited to attend.

Dr. Hadsell joined the College at Oneonta faculty in 2007. He holds a Ph.D. in managerial economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master's and bachelor's degree in economics from SUNY Albany, where he taught previously.
