ECONOMICS & BUSINESS SEMINAR AT SUNY ONEONTA TO FOCUS ON CHOICE OF I.P.O. VS. M.&A.

 

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Assistant Professor of Finance Dona Siregar of the SUNY College at Oneonta will offer the third presentation of the Fall 2008 Economics and Business Division Faculty Seminar Series at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, in room 203 of Schumacher Hall on campus. The title of Dr. Siregar's presentation is "The Choice of IPO Versus M&A: Evidence From Banking Industry." Admission to the event is complimentary, and members of the community are invited to attend.

Dona Siregar joined the College at Oneonta faculty in 2005. She holds a Ph.D. in finance and a master's degree in industrial and management engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she also worked as a post-doctoral research associate. She holds a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Bogor Agricultural University in Indonesia.
