ECONOMICS & BUSINESS SEMINARS CONTINUE AT SUNY ONEONTA

 

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Economics and Business Division Faculty Seminar Series at the SUNY College at Oneonta will continue with two presentations in November. Admission to the presentations is complimentary, and members of the community are invited to attend.

At 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, in room 101 of Schumacher Hall, Assistant Professor of Finance Qun Wu will present "Do investment banks listen to their own analysts?" At 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, in room 203 of Schumacher Hall, Assistant Professor of Economics Jaime McGovern will present "Scott Operators and their application to Economic Models."

Dr. Wu, who holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Kentucky, joined SUNY Oneonta this year. He taught previously at the University of Arkansas--Little Rock.

Dr. McGovern, who holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Arizona State University, joined SUNY Oneonta in 2008. She served previously as an economic analyst with the Oregon Public Utility Commission.
