SUNY-ONEONTA STUDENTS COMPILE HEALTHY-EATING COOKBOOK
 

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Sixteen students in Nancy Mitchell's Healthy Ways to Weight Loss for Women class at the SUNY College at Oneonta have compiled a cookbook entitled "Real Good Recipes for the Rest of Your Healthy Life." The book, a class project in the Physical Education course, contains 68 recipes including snacks and appetizers, soups and salads, main courses, and desserts. Each recipe includes nutritional information and tips for preparation.

The 16 women in the class, which was offered for the first time in the fall semester, lost a total of 90 pounds during the course. They learned about different forms of exercise as well as healthy eating.
