ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The
Center for Multicultural
Experiences and the Students of Color Coalition of the SUNY College at
Oneonta will offer a poetry slam in celebration of the life and works of Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr., at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, at the center in
Lee Hall. Admission to the event is complimentary, and members of the
community are invited to attend.
The poetry slam, entitled "Xpress Yourself," will honor the late
Professor Ralph Watkins of the SUNY-Oneonta
History Department.
