SUNY ONEONTA CONCERT CHOIR TO PRESENT FALL CONCERT
 

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Concert Choir of the SUNY College at Oneonta will present its fall concert on Tuesday, November 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hunt College Union Ballroom on campus. Admission to the performance is complimentary, and members of the community are invited to attend.

Under the direction of Dr. Robert Barstow, the choir will perform a varied program featuring "How Can I Keep From Singing" by Z. Randall Stroope; J.S. Bach’s "Dona Nobis Pacem" from his B Minor Mass; and "Twa Tanbou," a Haitian folksong.

Also included in the program will be James Erb’s setting of "Shenandoah," an energetic setting of "Rock-a My Soul" by Kirby Shaw, and "Chili Con Carne" arranged by Anders Endenroth. The men’s sections of the choir will be featured on "The Hippopotamus Song."
