SUNY-ONEONTA COLLEGE COUNCIL TO MEET ON CAMPUS APRIL 23

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The College Council of the State University of New York College at Oneonta will meet on Wednesday, April 23, at 4 p.m. in Le Cafe of the Morris Conference Center on campus.

At the meeting, the Council will receive an update on the presidential search.
[The complete agenda for the College Council meeting is included below.]

Each state-operated campus in the SUNY system has its own College Council. The members of each council are appointed by the governor for seven-year terms with the exception of the student representative, who is elected by the student body.

College Councils have specific statutory powers, such as naming buildings and recommending to the SUNY Board of Trustees candidates for president or chief administrative officer of the college. Council meetings are public, and each council meets at least four times a year.
