SUNY Oneonta participated in the National Survey of Student Engagement in Spring 2011, following up on earlier administrations in 2003, 2005, and 2008. For Spring 2011, Oneonta elected to have the surveys administered to students exclusively through Web-based delivery. Surveys were distributed to 1,135 first-year students and 1,633 seniors, and response rates were quite high, with 319 first-year students (28%) and 493 seniors (30%) responding. These figures were very comparable to response rates reported for both student cohorts by peer institutions. |
