COURSE
DESCRIPTION:
Continuation of Chemistry 351(Physical Chemistry I). Electrochemistry,
solutions, chemical kinetics, chemical dynamics and photochemistry, statistical
thermodynamics, solid state chemistry and related laboratory work.
Prerequisites:
Chem
351, 361, Phys. 104 and 12 hours of calculus.
FORMAT:
Three hours of lectures and one 4-hour laboratory work each week.
Homework assignments, mid-term examination and final examination.
Twenty percent of final grade for the course is based on laboratory work.
