CSCI 394 Game Development Project #1

For this assignment you are to pick a PC game and provide an in depth evaluation of it. Your game should not be one that someone else has already chosen, and should have been released in the last 10 years. You should spend several hours playing through the game, and then evaluate it on the user interface, graphics quality, sound, playability, re-playability, AI, and other areas that seem appropriate, as well as providing an overall rating of the game. In addition, you should provide the basic information about the game, such as single player, multi-player, networked, cooperative, competitive, etc, rules, objectives and goals, developer, publisher, and so on, as well as the minimum and recommended machine requirements for each game.

You should prepare a 3 page double spaced (minimum) review on your game to turn in, as well as a summary of your findings on several PowerPoint slides for a 5 minute presentation to the class. You should let me know your game choice by Friday, 24 January.
